We find ourselves in a strange and tumultuous time. I know many of you are struggling; struggling with stress, struggling with overwhelm, struggling with anxiety, and struggling with the pressures that come from a world-wide lock-down and health struggle. This is my message to those of you who may be struggling:
"Look after yourself. Try not to overthink. Let life happen, and focus on all the good you have. Prioritise your health. Focus on your self-love and self-care. Make YOU a priority. The rest will fall into place..."
Back to School?
With our young ones possibly venturing back to school after months of uncertainty, many children and parents alike are finding it hard to conquer mind monkeys and anxiety. Claire Clements, founder of Positive Pants and co-founder of Positively Empowered Kids, shares her tips for adjusting to a new schedule and going back to school...
Be prepared.. being in control (as much as possible!) can really help your mindset. Make sure that as a parent you've read any communications that have come from the school. Children learn by example so if you can be calm, organised and positive about the experience then they will follow that.
Involve your child in getting prepared for school... try on their uniform, let then choose a new bag, lunch box or pencil case if possible, or even just a special key-ring or bag charm that reminds them of you and feeling positive.
Allow extra time in the morning, just getting up 10 minutes earlier can make all the difference...
Spend a bit of time each day talking about returning to school so it doesn't come as a shock... talk about all the things they enjoy at school, show them pictures of their friends or arrange a playmate or phone call and focus on this rather than any worries you may have.
Finally, send your child to school with love. Give them lots of reassurance and plenty of hugs, and pop a little note in their lunch box or pencil case to remind them how proud of them you are.

What is Gut Health?
Your 'gut microbiome' is made up of the trillions of microorganisms and their genetic material that live in your intestinal tract. Though it may make you feel squeamish, those little organisms are a crucial part of our bodily health. A healthy gut microbiome is vital for survival and has been linked to digestion, brain and heart health, weight control, and reduced blood sugar. You may have heard 'good bacteria'. So, how do we ensure ours is healthy?!
I'm delighted to share the news that soon, I will be able to support you in your quest for a healthy gut! I am in the process of launching a 'healthy gut test' that will enable you to test the health of your gut and see the results, giving you the power to take positive action. Watch this space...

Genesis Healing was created to bring natural products to the consumer to prevent the build up of toxins in the body. We believe that detoxifying and maintaining a high level immune system is the key to a healthy life. Detoxification along with eating organic produce can help your cells to synchronise, meaning that the toxins are deposited out of your body every day.
